Dear Richard,
I supose the real reason thet we published the volume was
for our own satisfaction.
It was a lot of work but nobody complained and I was not prepared
to see the site close after 100 years without some formal
commemoration.
I am not sure that anyone took much notice but we did circulate
hardback copies to supporters of the institute,
as well as paperbacks to staff.
It is good to know that it is present in libraries and the
achievements of the site will not be totally forgotten,
Peter.
